After successful prototyping, assembly, setup and play-testing, we now have an improved NS/Stick with a fully redesigned neck in production.

Brand new features include the following:

- Dark bamboo bolt-on neck for light weight and rigidity. This honey-tan bamboo is Danish oil finished, but can first be dyed a darker brown to almost black, or warmed with a reddish dye.

- Smaller "Rails" of 1/8-inch stainless steel square stock with rounded 90-degree tips very low to the neck/fretboard surface - only .035" high off the board. All other Stick models have the larger 3/16-inch Rails with rounded tips .055" high off the board. (Standard bass guitar frets are usually around .050" high.)

Other features include the following:

- "Stick" type deep beveled 45-degree surfaces under the neck on each side and adjoining a flat rear neck surface (US trademark #2 138 101).

- Slightly larger and sturdier hardware and fasteners at bridge, truss rod and headless nut for easier and firmer adjustments.

The inlaid guitar dot pattern comes in either white pearl or black acrylic.

The NS/Stick is set up for very low tapping action with the very straight fretboard typical of all Stick models. Precision fret work creates a flat plain of rounded Rail tips as the playing surface, also with a small bit of "relief" at the lower pitched Rails under the low bass strings.

"Fine tuning" the neck to keep it straight is easy with our flush rear truss rod as on all Stick models. The truss is exposed at the rear neck surface for quick and convenient Allen wrench adjustment to provide reliable counter-tension to the pull of the strings.

The headless design allows this guitar-bass to be comfortably held more vertically for two handed tapping, or at a 45-degree angle for seamless transitions of technique.

All prices remain the same as before for the NS/Stick, its case, MIDI, and all accessories.

All the Best, Emmett.
