The "Stickista" Guillermo Cides is on tour with Jerry Marotta (ex Peter Gabriel, Paul McCartney). He will also participate with Linda Cushma in the ProgSud Festival of France and the prestigious Intenational Guitarra Festival in Córdoba, Spain.

The unusual career of Cides continues on many differents roads and is as different as is the music that comes from his Stick, a 10-string instrument which he has transformed to a reverent offering.

Polemic and critical with the current musical climate, Cides has defined himself as "the Holden Caulfield of the J. D. Sallinger writings," a "self-critic that seeks to conquer his own ignorance in the music," and for no other reason than for musical multiplicity, so risky and rich in creativity. Results of this include Cides being invited to different and expansive musical venues as the Festival of Progressive Rock ProgSud of France and to the XVIII International Festival of the Guitar of Córdoba, Spain -- complimenting the tour with drummer Jerry Marotta (popular for his 10 years with Peter Gabriel), and also playing the live music of the theater work, "The Infanticide," of the spanish actress, Alicia Gonzalez.

This is but a sample of the current musical renovation and evolving reconstruction.
